Everclear - love, love this band. don’t need to ’splain why.
Gwendolyn - heard her music first on the show, “weeds”. she’s awesome.
Hypnotic Clambake- used to play at a place in charlotte, i became a loyal follower.
Lou Ford - one of these brothers used to be my starbucks barista and he was a damn fine barista.
Squirrel Nut Zippers- my bff cheree turned me on to these people, and THANK GOD she did.
Stewart Lewis -discovered Stewart when he replied to an email that i sent to augusten. yes, that augusten. stewart not only is a musician, but a writer, and has time to be augusten’s assistant. i am hoping that stewart will become really famous so he can bequeath his assistant to augusten job to me.
Thee Unright - i met him first when i was 14 (over 20 years ago), we dated briefly and then became life-long friends. he’s a sweet boy.
