Part of my story:
I am Piglet. It was my childhood family nickname, that family thought it was funny. Friends of mine were concerned with the name of the blog thinking I was insuating that I am a Pig. In fact, some even demanded that I change the name in order to remain in good spirits with my self esteem.
I laughed at them, I did.
My family also told me they found me in a trashcan and that I would grow up to live in a tin can house in the woods. They didn’t know me at all. It’s pretty obvious I was raised by wolves isn’t it?
I love to read, and subsequently I love to write and I’ve kept a journal since my early teens.
Lots of folks over the years have commented on my over-active imagination, and perhaps writing could curb some of that. And, hey that sounded a lot better than having the men in white coats show up to take me to a pretty place.
I am married, with two kids. One son and one (step) daughter. Two cats, two dogs, one frog and one hermit crab. I am a SAHM (stay at home mom) which requires my services 24/7 and boy oh boy do I love that. I used to have an actual career as an IT corporate trainer, but I gave that up in October of 2005 when my dad was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. I needed to be with him, as well to take him to his appointments.
My Dad died peacefully and in no pain on February 1, 2006. My son and I were the only ones in the room with him, and I could not have planned it out any better if I’d tried.
I was born on Groundhogs Day (that’s February 2nd to you) under a full moon. A Psychic once commented that being born under a full moon gives you special powers. But not special powers like Superman or Spiderman. I’m still on a quest to discover all of my special powers.
Most of what I write about involves my life and those people that are lucky enough to be a part of my life. Does this makes me a narcissist? Probably. I do feel a little superior in that I am a public narcissist rather than one that tries to hide their narcissism. I feel the same way about crazy. Hidden crazy is lethal. Open crazy is well, me. And, that’s OK.
A huge part of my life is being a sober recovering alcoholic with 16 years of continuous sobriety. I am active in meetings, I have a sponsor and I owe my life to the program that I belong to. That, and thousands of people over the years that have participated in my recovery. This blog however is not a recovery blog.
Feel free to comment I don’t edit comments or remove them, unless you are a troll.

This is what was suggested to put on my blog if I am a Weeds fan (which I am). It’s gibberish.
