my son’s word of the day is “apparently”.
he was dropped off last week after going to the movies, i was in the garage. he got out of the vehicle, walking past me he said, “apparently we didn’t eat anything at the movies”.
later, he said “apparently we didn’t go to the pool today”.
i do not think he’s using it in it’s intended meaning, but it’s funny from a sarcasm angle.

Apparently you did not include a “before” picture of the kid with teeth and no paint. He’s apparently always been a toothless Warrior.
I’m thinking he’s connected the term to some sort of disappointment issues, so apparently I’m using it that way as well. If you read this from that vantage point, it does, indeed make sense. In my own sort of weird way.
Very funny

My 16 yr old dauther uses the word ‘random’ all of the time. I am glad I was never like that aren’t you?

“Cool” used to be my word (still is, on here and at home) but one day this over-bearing obnoxious woman started to work (or show up anyway) at my workplace and she says it like a million times a day. Started seriously getting on my nerves and everyone else’s. So I gave up my favorite word cuz she totally ruined it for me. I miss it
Sometimes it’s the only word that works. Nothing’s cool at work anymore anyway, so I guess it’s not that big a deal
