hello world.
i wish to share with you my mother’s day festivities. the mother’s day festivities actually began the weekend before mother’s day. i think due to the fact that i am such a mother, it requires a head start.
i am certain you would agree.
more candor and hello kitty should totally start up their own handmade card greeting service. they are both very good at art. hello kitty IS an actual art teacher. she teaches CHILDREN art. in fact, she was our daughter’s teacher for a short time.
this is the card from more candor, i love he. his card maded me cry.
this is the card from hello kitty. her card maded me cry after i finished laughing at the BIG PILL on the cover. i think she’s trying to send a secret message to me, and it has something to do with being a pill.
nah, i totally get it hello kitty. from that first night we met and you secretly wondered if i was on drugs? and right after you thought that, i told you that “i wasn’t really this crazy, i’d just seen augusten’s movie “running with scissors” and i was high on the movie.” you and me gots our own communication channel.

next up, my mother’s day loot from my son and husband. i must warn you that one of these photos could possibly alarm you. you must know that no one was hurt, nor ever intended to be hurt in the making of this gift.
the boy woke me up with the threat of food and coffee.

i ate first, and then was ordered to open this envelope.

then forced to open this gift. if that looks like christmas paper to you, it’s b/c it is!
……
…..
alas, the box contents, his dad said “that was all the money in his wallet”.

this, coming from my little capricorn son is LOVE. to gift me all of his wallet money. later i told him that i couldn’t take all of his money. he said, “it’s ok i have more in the bank.”
later, the husband and son went off in the truck. i took a nap. their trip had something to do with this next picture.

no, the husband wasn’t trying to kill our son. there was a hole in the bag by his nose so he could breathe. when i first saw it, however i was not quite sure what was happening. i was sure to grab the camera for evidence.
does he look scared in this picture? yeah, i thought so too.

there is a back story to the face mask, and i am quite happy to have a mask of my son for mother’s day.
the only thing missing this day was my daughter. she’s currently living with her mother far away in the land of ice and snow. she is coming home on june 1st, and that will be my final mother’s day gift.
i am a most grateful mother.

If this isn’t a perfect testament to what being a Mom is all about, I wouldn’t know what is.
That’s a lot of love to absorb, good thing your heart is big as a barn! You should have a little room left over for the Mother’s Day love I’m sending you
(ps i bought running with scissors on your reccomendation. can’t wait to watch it)

one wink, my dearest. i do hope you like the movie, i have to say that those that haven’t read the book may not “get it”. but, knowing you i think you’ll get it. if not, keep watching it until you do get it
love.

Hopefully, when the weekend comes… There I will be, watching it over and over
I didn’t “get” Pulp Fiction until the third or fourth time. Sometimes I’m denser than others.

Your son has more money in his wallet than I do.
I guess I should say ‘had’. Your son had more money in his wallet than I do.
Happy Mother’s Day to us both.
