this made me laugh for about 30 minutes

our puppy sampson needed to go really bad when he requested to be let out. as soon as he hit the garage he started going and didn’t stop until he got to the grass.

i’m laughing just writing about it. surely it isn’t THAT funny, or perhaps it doesn’t take much to crack me up. our cat, kilborne was completed mortified by this action, and later poked his own eyes out at the due to the horrifying sight he witnessed.

it reminded me of how little kids wait until the very last minute to pee b/c they are too busy playing, and they pee in their pants on the way to the potty.

random stuff

• with the warm weather we are having, i’m back to my gardening obsession. i worked on the new bed setup for about 6 hours on sunday, and i wondered if i would wake up paralyzed monday morning. luckily, i was not completely paralyzed, just a very sore right arm and lower back.

• the garbage disposal was not turning, i could hear the motor but it sounded stuck. i went to the internet to ask it how to fix it. i read a couple of items that were consistent, fixed that broken garbage disposal b/c i am awesome. i just might be prepared to get my own “fixing stuff” show. (i did sustain an injury, as i was turning the hex wrench, i clipped off a small piece of my thumb but nothing serious.)

• recently, i made a very bad mistake. i mixed up the eye medicine with the ear medicine for our dog sunday. the ear medicine that i put into her eyes has a type of acid in it. i wondered why she was clawing at her eyes after i did it. the bad thing is i didn’t realize i was using the wrong thing until after the second treatment. (this really freaked me out and made me wonder how it is that i haven’t been tossed in to jail before now.)

• on saturday, i received TWO items in the mail that made my heart swoon. i felt like i won the lottery, two times on the same day! a certain book by a certain favorite author, advance copy. the next item? two pieces by one of my favorite artists, along with a handwritten note. i love his work, and i am overwhelmed by his generosity (THANKS RAY)! i will be posting photos soon.
