the husband got a wild hair recently procured a steam cleaning vacuum machine, in order to clean our carpets b/c our carpets? they are really bad off. this was a new house when we moved in, the carpets became old on the fourth day of living here. the quick downfall of the carpets can be blamed on my husband and our late cat, tigger.
tigger threw up from one end of our new living room, to the other on the fourth day. soon after, the husband would spill his coffee walking up the stairs that lead to the bonus/office room, and then again on the way down to retrieve more coffee.
as for the steam cleaner, we checked a few reviews on this particular brand before he purchased it, and the reviews were good. i was skeptical, as i’m wont to be.
very soon after he brought it home and put it to work, i was surprised to see that the dang thing worked. i caught the fever, he taught me how to use it and i’ve been steam cleaning THE WHOLE HOUSE.
puppy decides he can’t hold it? NO WORRIES!!!! the steam cleaner cleans it right up.
(this is your cure, michelle hands down.)
i swear it’s magic and i love it.
luke spilled COKE on the carpet and i grabbed a towel to dab it before i put on the stain remover stuff, picked up the towel and the COKE SPILL WAS GONE. the carpet that had been steam cleaned last weekend was transformed into magical carpet!
again, i must remind you that i have not been paid in anyway to write about this steam cleaner. i just want to share it in case you find yourself in need of a steam cleaner.
(on a side note, i got an email from a reader who found our jigsaw couch pictures i posted. she, like we could not find photos anywhere else on the web for this ding dang couch. it made me happy that someone actually found something useful here on the daily piglet.)
the biggest joy that i’ve experienced with magical machine was the day i was steam cleaning my mattress.
the dang thing accumulated the baby powder that i put on the mattress when i change the sheets! THE BABY POWDER! are you wondering why i put baby powder on my mattress? well, i’ll tell you. to keep it fresh. i will spray something febreez-ish and then sprinkle baby powder on it before i put on the new sheets.
after cleaning the mattress with the steam cleaner, and taking the output water pail to be emptied, i saw all this wet powder and briefly wondered what it was. then i realized it was the baby powder i use.
IT WAS THEN THAT I LIFTED UP OFF OF THE FLOOR AND FLOATED due to the happiness that this STEAM CLEANER ACTUALLY WORKED!
it is my hope that this steam cleaner isn’t tricking me, pulling me in like meth or crack cocaine. working so well that i think it’ll always be like this, me floating above my freshly steamed carpets, mattresses, and stand alone rugs.
alas, if it is to be than it shall. i will enjoy it for what it is now, and try not to worry that the honeymoon might end.
