funny in an unexpected place

April 18, 2008

a friend of mine sent this link via email, in order for me to find the hidden criminals on my street.

where i live.

she knows that i’m somewhat of a “sleuth” (aka: conspiracy junkie) and enjoy knowing the dangers that lurk in my vicinity.

this was the link page, but when i typed in my address a message appeared stating that my address could not be found. i backed out of it to the home page to see what could be the matter. surely there are dangerous criminals lurking behind every azalea bush here in the burbs’?

i started looking around the site and noticed a “FAQ” type page. the last question really took me by surprise, and honestly, i let out a gleeful giggle.

it warmed the cockles of my cold, dead heart with the funny.

I want to kill someone, should I use this database as a guideline?

No you shouldn’t, mostly. Killing would make you a criminal as well and there are other sites similar to ours that also track everyone who has even been accused of a crime. If that was okay actions to take, people would be hunting you before you know it, and that doesn’t help anyone. Yelling obscenities isn’t a bad idea though, that’s just a misdemeanor in most places.

just to verify that it was a legitimate site, i plugged in our local pedophile street name and sure enough they were all there right where they belong. on one street in the neighboring town.

i’m doing stuff again that could render me unable to have any future children

below are pictures from my newest home project. it will merge with another project that i started last year but never finished. the reason i never finished the other one is b/c i was waiting to find free dirt. i put an ad up on craig’s list, but nothing really panned out.

since it’s the beginning of the season i might have better luck if i do the footwork and find landscaping folks that need a place to dump the excess dirt and stuff from their jobs.

if i don’t get my dirt for free, than i will pay for it. that’s how bad i want to finish it, b/c i don’t really like to pay for things. seriously, WHO does like to pay for things?

yeah, that’s what i thought.

these are the beginning photos of the herb garden i am creating. this front area is one that i’ve been trying to grow grass in for a couple of years. it was going well until i over-fertilized it and killed just about everything in the grass area, and the stuff beyond the grass area due to run-off.

last year, the husband suggested i just fill it all up with lavender. i pondered it for a spell (all winter) and decided that yes, it is a perfect spot for all my herbs due to the slanted aspect of the area. the herbs like a well drained area, especially lavender and rosemary.

this is a front view, note the cinder block lining the back behind the gardenia bushes.

the reason i wanted to note those cinder blocks is due to the drop off back there. i lined those up and the blocks were heavy. in fact, i’ve probably lost my ability to rear any more children due to how heavy the are.

this is a wider view, i’m not finished with lining the red bricks around the concrete area.

i must note that i have been CHOMPING AT THE BIT to keep working on this. alas, the allergies got to me and rendered me lifeless for entirely too long this week. i plan to knock myself out over the weekend and hopefully, not die in doing so.
