dude, i got phished. and i have no idea what it really means.

who knows anything about getting phished on myspace?

i ask b/c i gotted phished. my daughter told me that bulletins were coming out under my account, she knew it wasn’t me but wanted to warn me. i had to change my password there.

i’ve heard it’s easy to phish there and spammers send out stuff from people’s accounts. why? what is missing in their lives that they have infiltrate strangers?

i have to “ask” again, why? is there not enough to do in the world that this has to happen? i don’t really have anything on myspace that needs protecting and i only use it to talk with a few folks. i changed myspace so that only people on my friends list can view my stuff there. i did that b/c our daughter created a myspace page and i thought it might be easier to keep out the crazies.

i like facebook better than myspace b/c you can do more there and it doesn’t take hours upon hours for a page to load if there is too much stuff on it.

i guess this is a sign that i am getting old, complaining about the functionality of myspace versus facebook. kind of like my parents saying they had to walk four miles to school up hill, both ways every day for all of their lives. or complaining that the new music is just plain old “noise”. i’m not quite there yet, hopefully i won’t ever be.

p.s. this is a “honking my own horn”, but i thought you might like to know that at least one person likes me in the blog world. she even wroted a post special fer me! and if you must know the truth, we’re lovahs in the non-sexual sense of the word.
