my son didn’t have school on friday, so thursday night i decided we should do something fun. the husband couldn’t join b/c he had to work. he’s been working like 20 hours a day lately due to a GINORMOUS work load.
before we left, luke asked me if he could put on makeup and i said yes. he went all the way with powder AND eye shadow. usually, it’s just powder.
every blue moon he’ll ask me if he can put on makeup and i always say yes. why would i say no? i mean, i was planning on wearing my fancy shoes with my fancy new socks.
with my salad, i got a fancy passion fruit/green tea in a fancy glass. (fyi: i know the tea looks like a drink drink, but it’s a virgin green tea.)
luke didn’t think it was so fancy but what does he know, he’s five. he got cheese sticks and fries for pete’s sake.
when we got to the movie theater, he noticed this light and said it looked like a person with it’s arms out. i thought that was a pretty damn good observation.
we saw that new movie, ratatouille and it was very cute. there were only two other people in the theatre with us.
