these links are really cool

jetset.com awesome 5 minute video packed with lotsa information about new and cool things on the internet. in addition, the host lady is pretty. i don’t know how they make something so filled with awesomeness in such a short time but they do. it’s almost like magic, and i really like magic don’t you?

diy show called wasted spaces. hosting dude is fantastic. he can explain things easily, and dude knows a lot of stuff. almost every show i’ve seen are things i’ve thought about doing around the piglet palace.

this american life, i know i’ve mentioned them before. they are worth a lot of mentions. for the first time, i made an ipod purchase for seven of the older shows. it was a big moment for me, buying something on itunes. their shows consist of one or more (usually three) stories. one of those stories (called a better mousetrap) is about a woman who had an autistic son but didn’t tell him or his teachers about it, and it turned out ok. i think he was 12 or 13 when she came to a time when she had to tell him. it made a difference in his life living without the idea of “something being wrong with him”. which is precisely the point i was trying to make in this old post.

this is completely random having nothing to do with links. i passed a bar the other day and painted on the side was, “where friends meet. liars welcome.”

john and his brother made a video, you must go and watch it to warm the cockles of your heart.

last but not least, brainwatch 2007 has begun. i don’t know about you, but this is almost as good as magic.
