happy stigmata friday!

we’ve been getting up every morning at 6am in order to get the boy off to the bus stop. we aren’t morning people. none of us in this house are morning people. the dog was a morning person when she was a puppy but we’ve trained her to our shameful sleeping late ways. and i usually stay up when we get back home. i like it b/c i can get stuff done. i love getting stuff done.

luke had dried blood all over him this morning. i was wiping him clean and it just seemed to be everywhere. the first thing that popped into my head was STIGMATA. which, if i do say so myself is pretty clever thinking for that early in the morning.

alas, i found it was coming from his nose. our daughter is a big nose bleeder too. many times, i was amazed that she was still alive with all the blood that came out of her nose.

sick yet?

i used this opportunity to slip in the fact that he really needs to stop picking his nose with his bare fingers b/c he prolly scratched the inside of his nose. i’ve been trying to get him to use tissues for like, ever. the whole nose issue is my fault anyway since i am obsessed with having a snot and booger free nose.
