no time for botulism

July 24, 2007

my nephew emailed the family an article regarding the latest food scare. seems that castleberry’s food is recalling their hot dog chili sauce due to an outbreak of botulism. it

hot. dog. chili. sauce. or in other words, puke. pure puke.

never have i purchased this product, nor will i ever.

from the article, “Officials said 16 out of 17 cans that have been tested have turned up positive for the bacterium that causes botulism.”

seems to be quite rampant lately that our food sources can kill us due to contamination.

this made me wonder if you know a person that uses a product that is being recalled and you don’t pass on the warning, could that be considered an accessory to a crime? or worse, murder?

another thought i had, wondering if we are going through a type of evolutionary change in that we need to go back to making our own food, on our own farms? i can tell you right now i would become a vegetarian pretty quickly b/c no way can i harm an animal. i’ll eat dirt.

it’s becoming more and more clear to me that we as a society have to begin taking things into our own hands or we will perish. we cannot rely on those that we’ve elected and put into high positions to have our best interests at heart.

what about the medical sectors? drug companies are bribing doctor’s with all kinds of *loot* in order for the doctor’s to peddle their shit.

we the people. let’s stand together. but please don’t eat the chili.

if you see “schoolpop” anything, run. don’t even think about it, just run.

schoolpop? if you see this in your child’s school, run the other way. i had long forgotten about them until i started getting emails again. i will not directly link to them, but this post on the corante goes into more detail.

it is a service in which you purchase school supplies for your children. about two years ago i joined. never got the stuff.

i called, i emailed, i emailed the top officers of the company, then i did research. i found out about the companies financial health and it was not good. no one ever returned my calls or emails. i called my credit card company and had them withdraw the charges. then i called my daughter’s school and notified them as well.

i was shocked to see an email from them recently. not one, but maybe two or three. i checked to see if they were still “up and running” and it appears they are.
