those eggs hatched, they did

as a follow-up to this post, i introduce you to DA BABIES!

imagine my surprise when i saw these guys on wednesday morning. they were crawling all around the tank i put them in.

i put in dirt, tomato leaves, and a little water in the tank on monday. i wasn’t expecting to actually have them hatch that soon.

i have no clue what i’m going to do with them. it doesn’t stop me from being cited!

day tripping

the boy and i took a day trip yesterday.

do not be alarmed by what you are about to see.

i wondered that if luke had asked me to read to him these signs, “how would i explain them?”

he was too tired and REALLY REALLY WANTED TO GET HOME.

maybe when the time comes i’ll suggest he come up with his own meaning of the signs. there are quite a few on the way to my beloved mountains.

this place? i’ve had my eye on it for 20 years i tell you. one day, it’ll all be MINE.
