sunflower inspiration

this 7 foot tall sunflower just “appeared” in the vegetable garden. my theory is that a sunflower seed fell out of the bird feeder from last year and the sunflower seed took root.

what is odd to me is that i actually BOUGHT a sunflower plant that didn’t make it. which is weird b/c i thought they were typically hardy plants.

ironic? for me, it is an example of the great things that can happen if i just get out of the way.

craig is a friend of mine from my recovery circle. in the time that i’ve known him, i was not aware of his success story as a tbi survivor. after craig shared his blog site with me, i was quite impressed with his gift for writing and sharing about his journey.

his posts are uplifting and positive with lots of good information for anyone that happens upon his blog. he’s “wicked smat” and a true success story.
