• tiggerlane awarded me a thinking blog award and i can’t tell just how much that means to me. tiggerlane is another neat lady-blogger that i admire. check out her blog, she has some very interesting real life stories, good taste in music and cool pictures. however, she doesn’t much care for html so don’t bug her about it ok? you have been warned

• while at the doctor’s office, i asked the doctor if my son had small ears like me. he replied, “his ears are bigger than yours now.” so, my ears are so small on the inside that my five year old has bigger ears than i do. and you know what they say about girls with small ears right? yeah, me either.

• on the phone with same sister last night, she was explaining how a friend of hers wanted to move into the duplex next to hers. her friend and she began plotting to kill whoever moved in (so that her friend could have the duplex). since she’s been job hunting, i pointed out to her that i hear there is very good money in being an assassin AND you can work from home. turns out that the person who moved in next door is a friend of hers from high school (true story).

• this is a BONUS tip: if your boyfriend buys you a new collar and it’s really comfortable, don’t forget to take it off before you go outside. b/c sometimes that’s hard to explain to people.
