Hello. I’d like for you to meet my Avatar. She’s sexy no? True, a sexy goth chick. Hey, I was Goth in high school, cept’ it was called “punk” way back then.

Evidently, there are many places in which to create your personal Avatar. This is my Yahoo Avatar, personally I haven’t ventured farther than yahoo’s avatars. Yet. that is.
Here are a few places in which to create your Avatar.
Been thinking about creating a second life? Or perhaps you are wondering what is a Second Life?
An interesting article I’ve been reading in Popular Science about the future of online living. Three key facts taken from the PS article:
- Since Second Life’s launch in 2000, the virtual world’s population has brown to 300,000.
- You can create and sell virtual items in SL using Linden dollars, which you can buy and sell for real dollars–trade that gives Second Life a GDP of $64 million.
- In the future, you’ll be able to use an avatar with your exact dimensions to try on clothes in a virtual department store.
That last one that I put in bold (#3), is plenty reason enough for me to create a Second Life.
